Thesilar is an elven ranger, possessed of all the agile grace and skill of blade and bow common amongst her race.
Biography
Why she took the path of an adventurer is a secret she holds close to her chest. The effect of this lifestyle on her has been a little different to other elven rangers. While they are reserved and seldom speak, Thesilar is more outspoken and has learned not just to understand and speak, but also the inherent humour of dwarven and human languages. She has developed sarcasm as sharp as her arrow heads and a sense of irony uncommon amongst her fellow rangers. She is able to act as translator between members of any party she joins, conveying not just the words, but the meaning and humour contained within.
Thesilar's father was a successful merchant whose wealth was built predominantly in trading precious stones across the western reaches of the Infant Sea, notably between Elvenholme and the Successor Kingdoms. When she was still very young, Thesilar's family moved to Therennia Adar. After accompanying her father on several business journeys in her adolescence, Thesilar became a trader for three years but quickly grew bored of what she considered to be a mundane existence. She then travelled to Ileuthar, and became a ranger in the Twilight Glades.
Pre-3865
At some point in her career she fell in with a group of adventurers, hired to rescue a merchant from the lair of Thrundak Skullsplitter. This was a task she carried out with skill and dry wit, acting in her usual capacity as go-between for the group, which consisted of Kapoka the Gladewalker Druid, Hrrath the salamander and Guraf Dammerson the Dwarf. Her partnership with Guraf is of particular note, of much amusement amongst those who know the dwarf, who recognises the value of Thesilar's martial skill and her utility as a translator, even if he is not a fan of the more flowery elven ways. Thesilar's opinion of the dwarf is similar, if a little more patronising.

A veteran warrior with many years of experience under her belt, Thesilar is now considered to be a top tier archer and successful barrower within adventuring circles. She acted as a mentor for Aestelle, an ex-Sisterhood mercenary who rose to fame at the Battle of Andro, and has most recently been seen working alongside fellow veteran adventurer Ragran the Mighty.
