When human nation was about to fall for good, Domivar created an army of Elohi to save the cities, which in turn lead to the creation of Basilea out of the ruins of Primovantor as unified mankind.
About
The mightiest of all Basilea’s warriors, the Elohi are the angels of the gods, sent from the top of mount Kolosu to protect the land the Shining Ones have chosen as their own.
The Elohi are beautiful beyond mortal understanding, tall and free of blemish. Wings sprout from their shoulders, gleaming armour of unknown metals clads their limbs.
They wield swords and spears the like of which are reminiscent of the terrible weapons of the Wars with Gods.
Notable Elohi
Fotia was cut in half in battle, half her corpse cradled in the arms of her lover Irdima. Irdima offered a desperate prayer and a miracle took shape. One half became Jullius, Dragon of Heaven, while the other became Samacris, Mother of Phoenixes.

The Elohi are the angels of the gods, the mightiest of all Basilea’s warriors, sent from the top of mount Kolosu to protect the land the Shining Ones have chosen as their own. The Elohi are beautiful beyond mortal understanding, tall and free of blemish. Wings sprout from their shoulders, gleaming armour of unknown metals clads their limbs. They wield swords and spears the like of which are reminiscent of the terrible weapons of the Wars with Gods. The Elohi are deadly and merciless in battle, they descend from the sky with righteous fury to destroy the enemies of the Shining Ones.
They are immortal, nearly impossible to truly slay, for an Elohi who falls in battle will simply fade away, to return to their masters on Kolosu. Their leaders are the Ur-Elohi, the archangels, mighty mortal heroes raised up by the gods to immortality above men and angels both. Few in number, they are among the most mighty of all the creatures on Mantica, their powers far beyond human ken. There is one way an Elohi might die. To gaze upon an Elohi is to risk falling in love with it, and the convents and monasteries of Basilea are full of broken individuals who fell under this spell (and whose affections were not reciprocated), very rarely, however, an Elohi falls for a human.
Should this happen and the relationship be consummated, the Elohi remains divine for one night and one day and then will become mortal, to suffer and savour all that that entails. Thus they can only be truly slain by love.
