Guraf Dammerson is a dwarf
About
Dwarfs are well known as gruff, stoic individuals who brook little in the way of what they might call ‘fancifulness’. They are a blunt, uncomplicated people with a blunt and uncomplicated approach to life. Guraf exemplifies these qualities in abundance being possessed of neither a sense of humour, nor a romantic soul.
That he travels with an individual like Thesilar is the cause of no small amusement to those who know him, especially given the general levels of mistrust that exist between their peoples.
But Guraf is pragmatic to a fault, and able to recognise the value of a companion who can shoot the enemy full of holes, all the while translating what they are saying so that you know where the rest of them will be. Theirs has been a profitable association, and not one that either is keen to end anytime soon
Biography
Battle with Grug the Troll
After a long and protracted fight, they were able to clear the various barracks of green skins and confront the being now leading the tribe, Grug the troll boss. Kapoka having tracked down the tribe that had attacked his forest, discovered a portion of the tribe in the far west, in the heavily forested hills of the successor Kingdoms, near the city of Valentica.
Kapoka then employed Hrrath Flamespitter along with the dwarf Guraf Dammerson, and the Naiad Demon Hunter Arianya.
Battle with Thrundak Skullsplitter
Thrundak Skullsplitter had made enemies, in particular a human settlement in need of a band of hero’s to fight their cause. Hrrath Flamespitter joined up with a band of heroes that been recruited by a local village to extract a merchant (Pietor Grube) from the orc’s lair, and so he set off with Kapoka, Thesilar the elf and Guraf Dammerson.
They were led into the warlords lair at Penn-Scarr. When the merchant was freed and the orcs treasures found, it was Kapoka that urged the others to continue in and confront the orc. That confrontation ended in Kapoka taking his revenge in a way only a being of his size and strength could. Suffice to say Thrundak never desecrated another forest again.
