Afalans Clan Imperial Clan
Color scheme: Blue on White Heraldry: a blue bar slashed diagonally across a white field. Class:Minor Clan Chief: Ddiangen Afalans
Background: The Afalans are deep traditionalists. They hail from the keep of Ganckhaz. Their heraldry springs from the fact that they have a deep underground river that runs through the bowels of their keep. The minerals of this water have been said to have a curative nature and pilgrims have travelled across the breadth of Pannithor to taste of them. Alchemists seek their water as it is a prime base for potions and distillations. Master brewers seek it for the same purpose. As such, the clan has grown wealthy in trading with this natural resource. They are a prideful clan that has been around since the beginnings of the empire and have been one of the most outspoken critics against Golloch's reign. This does not endear them to those around them, as most clans that deal with them call them prideful and stubborn even by dwarf standards.
Bwaroc Clan Imperial Clan
Color Scheme: Green and Silver Heraldry: Two crossed crossbow bolts on a field of green Class:Minor Clan Chief: Heliwr Craedrun
Background: Hailing from the coastal mountains around Gaer Carric, these unorthodox dwarfs are more alike with the Free Dwarfs to the north. A large collection of Imperial rangers come out of their hold, and they spend almost as much time above ground as they do below it. With the remote nature of their hold, they are not part of the underground highway that connects the majority of the Imperial Dwarf holds. As such, they are one of the more independent holds. As a way of supporting themselves, they are the most agrarian society in the empire. Their livestock provides supplementary supplies for nearly all of Golloch’s empire, and no feast would be complete without their high quality beef or pork stock on the tables. Beyond that, they are excellent hunters and beast tamers, every would-be king of the empire that would ride something other than a brock into battle will most likely hire the rangers of Bwaroc to capture and break their large beast, as such there is a lot of beast riders that accompany their rangers into battle.
