Needless to say, Cwl Gen attracts unhinged Dwarfs from across Mantica, and the brawls that occur at the regular feasts hosted by Sveri are legendary in the scale of their destruction – his drinking hall has had to be rebuilt many times following such bouts of mindless violence. The histories of Cwl Gen tell how a thousand years ago the first Lord of Cwl Gen succumbed to the Red Curse following his betrayal by his chief warsmith Arhak, and his subsequent defeat by an invading Abyssal Dwarf warhost. Since that time, Arhak has risen to become supreme Iron-Caster among the Abyssal Dwarfs, and each Berserker Lord of Cwl Gen is sworn to avenge his ancestor’s disgrace. It is said that the Red Curse will be lifted by the lord who will sever Arhak’s miserable head from his shoulders.
