About

The frenzy warriors wearing animal furs, when they entered battle.

the Fanatics sometimes described as the Shining Ones special warriors, going without their mailcoats and as mad as hounds or wolves, biting their shields...slaying men, with neither fire nor iron having an effect upon them.

This is called 'going berserk'.
