In Spring 3865, Gregori as assigned to the Elohi-class ship, Pious while sailing in the Northern Infant Sea as a First Lieuteant.

While preparing to engage with an unknown ship, he greeted Lieuteant Jaymes Ellias who had rushed updeck after Beat to quarters' was called. After some plesentries, they both moved to the quarterdeck to meet Capt. Charn Ferrus, Lieutenant Jaymes Ellias and Lieutenant Walt Ganto to discuss the situation.
Gregori took at a look through the spyglass towards the distant ship chasing the three Sloops. He quickly idenified that it was an Orc ship and Capt. Charn Feerus issued orders. Gregori staying on quarterdeck, Lt. Ellias to take charge of the upper deck and Lt. Ganto to take charge of the upper deck for’ard and Mister Just to clear for action. Approaching closer the two Orc ships were identified being an Orc Smasher and an Orc Blood Runner. Cpt Feerus ordered Gregori to take charge of the fo’c’sle cannons and for Thaddeus Just to get the ship to pull up on the Orc Smasher.
Gregori ordered the cannons to fire at the top of every wave as their approached to get the best distance possible, getting closer every time.
