Mary Mussing lives in the The Shires and was a frequent user of the machines created by Taran Bligh. Unfortunately, Taran's machines malfunctioned twice with the first time nearly blinding her and the second causing her to early run over by Taran's steam powered plough.

These mishaps eventuallly led to Mary's husband, John Mussing, to complain to the council and get Taran's machines locked up so they could no longer be used.
