Pieter signed up with the Duke Targun Spire's paid ranks after the The Invasion of Rhordia events.

In 3869, Pieter was part of a Dogs of War unit were preparing to take on an Orc and Goblin force. The Duke Targun Spire was attempting to rally his force with words of encouragement while riding a Cockatrice.As the Duke was rally their troops, a rock came out of no where and took the head off the Cockatrice, killing it and taking out some nearby bowmen in the process. The Orcs charged as the officer-knights attempted to pull the Duke free from the body of the Cockatrice.
The League of Rhordia's attempted to rally and archers fired at the charging Orcs right before they slammed into the spears and shields of Pieter's unit. Intially they managed to hold the Orc charge as countless Orcs died after the charge. The fighting was all around and Pieter was killed.
