Typically the flagships of Ghost Fleets, Spectres are large vessels helmed by a captain so evil, or so irrevocably cursed, that they can never rest until their duty is done. Spectre-class is a large type of ship for the Ghost Fleet

About

Typically the flagships of Ghost Fleets, Spectres are large vessels helmed by a captain so evil, or so irrevocably cursed, that they can never rest until their duty is done. Their eyes glowing with balefire, these cursed captains bind hundreds of damned souls to their ship through sheer, undying force of will.

They have long forgotten how to parley, and instead have succumbed wholly to bitterness, driving their fleet ceaselessly from one battle to the next, hoping that through the tumult of warfare they might fill the yawning emptiness inside. The names of these vessels are legend, etched forever into the collective consciousness of superstitious seadogs. Those who face such a ship in battle and live to tell the tale count themselves blessed indeed.
