After lighting a fire to keep warm, Torick began to rest however Bretta could not after something caught her eye inside the hut. Bretta saw a small chest with a unique carving ontop of it and moved to investigate it, noticing the carving looked like a screaming, eyeless face with teeth that were sharpened fangs, like that of a tundra wolf, while the twisted tongue reminded Bretta of a lizard. Torick had awoken and realised what Bretta had found however Bretta was paralyzed with the sight of what she was seeing which Torick managed to snap her out of. After continuing to escape, [[Reapers]] emerged from the hut and gave chase to Bretta and Torick eventually catching up with Torick. A reaper jumped onto Torick which Torick killed with his axe then threw the reaper to the ground. Another reaper jumped in front of Bretta's [[Frostfangs|Frostfang]] which she decapitated and the duo continued to escape to a nearby campsite that Torick knew of. | |||

Torick and Bretta Becken and were keeping watch of the greenskin occupied city of Blackridge in the Winterlands. They watched as the Orcs and Goblins fought between each other below. Torick spotted an incoming blizzard and told Bretta that they should go back. The scouts pulled on their Frostfangs and began heading back.
