Dogs of War is a Infantry unit for the League of Rhordia faction.

About

Fighting alongside the regular infantry, the Foot, or House, Guard are elite, professional veterans—well-drilled and experienced campaigners.

Used as their bodyguard, these units are greatly valued by barons and dukes alike for their loyal and efficient service.

Dogs of War were introduced in 2.0 Uncharted Empires 2nd Edition Rulebook during the 2nd Edition Era with the introduction of the League of Rhordia faction.

Dogs of War were an active unit until the start of 3rd Edition but were reintroduced in 3.0 Uncharted Empires 3rd Edition Rulebook with the reintroduction of the League of Rhordia faction.

Most dukes pay for the services of these heavily armoured mercenaries to bolster their lines and ensure that the League is never caught unprepared.

Third Edition Biography

The Dogs of War unit was altered in Clash of Kings 2022 to include addition options which were tied into the lore. One of these options must be selected

• The Shields of Hetronburg [1] - Change Defence to 5+ and gain Phalanx and Ensnare for [+50/+90] pts
• The Razors of Berlonviche [1] - Change Melee to 3+, gain Phalanx and Elite for [+45/+75] pts
• Beasts of Targun Spire [1] - Gain Crushing Strength (1), Fury, and Pathfinder for [+30/+50] pts

This gives additional insight to aspects between each of the different states with Hetronburg being more defensive, Berlonviche being more aggressive and Targun Spire being more wild and animal based (further strenghted by their display of Mammoths in Broken Alliance)
