The Battle of Andro was fought in northeast Basilea, between Basilean forces and an army of the Abyss. The battle is the climax of the book Steps to Deliverance.
About
Under the command of the recently fallen ex-Legion Captain Dionne, an Abyssal vanguard had entered Basilea to set up a portal for a main invasion force. After discovering a portal stone, the Forces of the Abyss attacked Andro and marched on the local portal stone.
Cause
The remaining forces trying to track down Captain Dionne discovered that Dionne's forces were searching for a portal stone to bring forth additional forces directly from the Abyss. Resulting in a full blown invasion of the Basilean Hegemony
Summary
After battle mage Valletto was able to contact his master Saffus back in the City of Golden Horn for the location of a portal stone, Valletto was informed of one near the mining town of Andro. Valletto informed Tancred and the remaining expedition forces hunting Captain Dionne (which includes the 15th Order of the Sacred Ark Cohort, 32nd Legion of the Basilean Hegemony, a local band of millita lead by Dorn and Aestelle) of its location and they all moved to protect it, hoping that the incoming Basilean relief force will reach them in time.
Result
A defending force under the command of Paladin Lord Tancred was able to defeat them. The battle is the climax of the book Steps to Deliverance.
