When Valletto travelled home, he was greeted by his servant, Hustas, as he arrived at his front door. As Valletto entered he was greated by his son Lyius, daughter Jullia and his wife Clera then went on to inform them that he was being sent away north to investigate the Abyssal incursion, upsetting Lyius. Jullia would stumble over to comfort Valletto and in the morning two paladins from the Order of the Blades of Onzyan, Silus and Lyen, arrived to escort him north.
When Valletto and the survivors force arrived back to Golden Horn after the Battle of Andro, the Basilean force began to break rank during the celebration parade (as was the tradition when returning). Valletto saw his son Lyius, daughter Jullia and wife Clera and Valletto moved to great them.
A few days later, as the family were resting at home, their servant, Hustas announced that Orion had arrived. Valletto invited Orion inside and introduced him to his family including Lyius who Orion would go on to encourage not to join the military much to the approval of Clera.
