They had set a trap through [[Rimethorn|Rimethorn Forest]] and towards [[Mount Drohzon]], the tallest mountain in the mountain range between [[Cwl Gen]] and [[Crafanc]]. After luring the [[Abyssal Dwarf Halfbreeds|halfbreed's]] that were giving chase into a cave in an attempt to trap them all there, the rangers moved deeper into the cave to spring a minor trap and prepared to pull the trigger. Unexpectedly, a rampaging [[Grotesques|Grotesque]] came through the enterance and charged, quickly causing Rhyss to trigger the trap, however it was unsuccessful in stopping the Grotesque. Rhyss and the rest of the remaining rangers, ran from charging Grotesque to an exit on the other end of the cave tunnels. Rhyss and his rangers all managed to slip out of the exit however the Grotesque was unable and was shot by the awaiting Rangers outside the exit, killing it.
