History
Construction
Built as a trading brig of approximately 400 tonnes, the Martolian Queen was commissioned directly into the small trading fleet of Stefano Viconti, based in Geneza. Square rigged with twin masts, her initial build led to stable handling characteristics and a good capacity for cargo.
Stefan had invested a lot of money into the family share of the Martolian Queen
After being refitted for privateering, the Martolian Queen's damaged steering gear was completely replaced for a more modern and expensive design, in turn having a positive effect on her agility and handling characteristics. She was also fitted with eighteen guns - two broadsides of nine - across her upper deck.

- The Martian Queen first appeared in the novel 'Pious'. During the planning of the novel, she was represented by a Warlord Games Black Seas Brig model. This was replaced by a custom build resin print vessel for the sequel novel, 'Through Thick and Thin'.
