Huscarls are not the fiercest fighters under Korgaans rule. That mantel belongs to the deadly Reavers that roam the wastes, the freezing wind brings out a kind of fury in them, driving them to greater feats of incredible violence.
Having donned the Mask of the Reaper and embracing the bloodlust, their minds have been torn asunder, entering an extreme state of phychosis, they become wild, savage and debased beasts.
As such they are ferocious fighters, shunning armour and embracing the climes of their home. In battle they become a freezing whirlwind of destruction and their shrill cries echo across the battlefield. The Reavers are a unit to be feared in the Varangur list.
