Our heroes are told of a fine sword known to the dwarfs as Glimmerdrake, and to the other races as 'Dragon of Fortune' or 'Dragonhoard Blade – for the wielder would always have huge wealth. The sword was used to forge an ancient realm, which prospered for many years. With the coming of Wicked One Winter and the great floods that followed her demise, the realm was drowned and left in ruin.
As the waters receded, the beings that live in the dark places of the world began to rediscover the passageways and tunnels of previous civilisations. There are rumours that a goblin Biggit, Grimshank, has occupied an old fortress in the Dragon Teeth Mountains and that he believes he has located the old sword. With it, he intends to build a new goblin city in the north and make himself its king
The heroes are tasked with finding Grimshank and preventing him from forging a new goblin empire. Of course, there’s also the sword that needs retrieving
