What is a Faction

What are Factions?

Within King of War Factions are a combination of:

• Races that band to gather for war (Orcs, Goblins, Ogres and Ratkin)
• Religion is what bands them together (Varangur, Forces of Nature, The Herd, Empire of Dust
• Contain a hierarchy where the faction as a whole is ruled by one body
  • Noble Races
    • Elves, Twilight Kin and Sylvan Kin
    • Northern Alliance Order of the Brothermark, Kingdoms of Men, League of Rhordia, Order of the Green Lady, Ophidians and Basileans
    • Dwarfs, Free Dwarfs, Abyssal Dwarfs and Ratkin Slaves
  • Trident Realms, Salamanders and Forces of the Abyss
• Then you have the Faction that are led by whoever raises and controls them, to the point that they can be good or evil Undead
• Finally the Faction that is possibly led by masters unknown, Nightstalkers
