In 3865, in Llyngyr Cadw, Zareen was in the process in creating a new member of the Immortal Guard when his brother Alborz who had become bored and wishing for glory wanted to return to Tragar to become a high lord of the Abyss. Alborz intention was for Zareen to take over leadership of the hold, which was abnormal as Zareen was an Iron-caster. Despite this, Zareen agreed and preparations began.
