Rodrick is a Halfing in his local Wild Lancers militia in the Shires.
Biography
Early Years
Rodrick signed up to his local militia looking for excitement, inspired by the heroic deeds of Aeron Cadwallader during The Invasion of Rhordia by the Riftforged Orcs.
Rodrick's milita group consisted of only two troops of Wild Runners and a regiment of Spearspikes tasked with guarding a barn which held a secret cache of weaponary that needed protecting.
Wing and a Prayer
Rodrick was bored and dreaming of fighting along side Aeron Cadwallader, disappointed in the lack of excitement he has experienced since joining up. His Aralez mount, Jasper, was in a playful mood and while Rodrick was about to perform a quick training session with him, Jasper saw a rabbit and chased it towards a nearby barn. Rodrick gave chase.

Lining up in prepration for the battle with Jasper, Dellen pulled up next to him. She was looking excited but rolled her eyes when hearing Arthern's pre-battle speech. Observing the Goblins preping for battle, next thing Rodrick knew is he was charging towards the enemy. As they approched and dodged arrows, two Mincers came out of the forest and plowed into the first unit of Wild Lancers, prompting Rodrick to try to stop Jasper but he slipped and fell to the ground. Jasper kept running towards the enemy.
