The abyssals managed to catch up to the refugees of the [[Daamuz Clan]]. [[Diessa Daamuz]] and her mother [[Brohna Daamuz]] attempted to buy time for the escaping clan by summoning earth elementals. Despite managing to kill the chasing [[Slave Orcs]], they became overwhelmed by a horde of [[Grotesques]]. As a last resort, Broha brought down the cliff walls around her, stopping the Grotesques however killing her in the process. Diessa was protected by a earth elemental saving her. In 3854, the survivors of the Daamuz Clan were escaping down the Ironway to get to Rhyn Dufaris, after they Llyngyr Cadw was put under siege during the invasion of the Halpi Mountains by the Abyssal Dwarfs. The abyssals managed to catch up to the refugees of the Daamuz Clan. Diessa Daamuz and her mother Brohna Daamuz attempted to buy time for the escaping clan by summoning earth elementals. Despite managing to kill the chasing Slave Orcs, they became overwhelmed by a horde of Grotesques. As a last resort, Broha brought down the cliff walls around her, stopping the Grotesques however killing her in the process. Diessa was protected by a earth elemental saving her.
