Apaphys, also known as Apaphys Champion of Death, is the 13th youngest child to a wealthy Ahmunite family, his parents were reborn unwillingly during the rite of Purification while he was young, causing the family to fall on hard times. Struggling to survive in the gutters of civilisation.

Biography

While the Ophidian Empire rose and established itself, the Ahmunites fell to a world of plague, despair and undeath. It is through this that Apaphys rose to power. Apaphys stuck a bargain for immortality with Soppdu, the corrupt djinn of war, just as the Ophidian God Kings blighted Ahmunites with their curse.

Soppdu replaced Apaphys’s soul and took the freedoms and pleasures of flesh. Riding on back of his wyrm N’Jem D’ru, he unleashes a reign of terror - The Champion of Death.

With the djinn flowing through the veins of the rotting body of Apaphys, it burns with utter desire for chaos and destruction.
