Maraxis is a Gillkin who went into hiding after their race slowly died off during Winter's War
Biography
Between 2499 and 2649
Maraxis, along with other surviving Gillkin such as Axel Trickbrook. met with other members of the Trident Realm to discuss the decline of his species in a grand hall in the Endless Sea. They had been dying off due to the freezing temperatures that Winter has placed upon Pannithor. Maraxis stated that they could not continue with so many of them dying however other non-gillkin races labeled them cowards, stating they are their best mages with the Riverguard relying on their help to protect the waterways on the surface.
Despite the shouts and jeers, Maraxis and the other Gillkin left the hall and Maraxis suggested that the gillkin scatter to all corners of Pannithor in order to find a place to keep warm.
