Axel Tricklebrook is a Gillkin who went into hiding after their race slowly died off during Winter's War
Biography
Between 2499 and 2649
Axel Tricklebrook, along with Splish, met with other members of the Trident Realm to discuss the decline of his species, Gillkin in a grand hall in the Endless Sea. They had been dying off due to the freezing temperatures that Winter has placed upon Pannithor. Maraxis, another gillkin, stated that they could not continue with so many of them dying. Other non-gillkin races labeled them cowards and stating they are their best mages with the Riverguard relying on their help to protect the waterways on the surface.
Despite the shouts and jeers, Axel and the other Gillkin left the hall and Maraxis suggested that the gillkin scatter to all corners of Pannithor in order to find a place to keep warm. Axel, along with Splish, managed to find a cave close to The Abyss where he was alot warmer due to the unnatural fires that warmed the lands around it and went into a form of hibernation.
After 3868
Axel awoke over 1000 years later, waking up from a dream of armies coming from the east. With stiff limbs he began to move, he wasnt sure how long he had been asleep for however Splish was there with him as he got his bearings. Picking up his staff, he emerged from the cave.
