While you are charging around bludgeoning random unfortunates to a bloody mess, I shall be exercising my considerable intellect and talents and picking off the truest dangerous foes. My executions will be far more valuable than yours. While I don’t doubt your general usefulness in a melee, you lack for strategy and flair. My style and razor sharp mind will always win the day.” -Volaire to his Ogre companion Grimm

Typria Volaire is a human ranger

Biography

Tyrias is something of a mystery and enjoys maintaining that persona. Clearly an educated and well bought up individual, he nevertheless spends his time in far less salubrious company and often in the gutter, hunting down criminals and other kinds of trouble for cold, hard cash. He's good at it too and has fostered an impressive reputation as a man who gets the job done. His favoure weapons are his pair of rather elegant duelling pistols, both ostentatiously embellished with the initials TV in gold filigree.

At some point he hired the ogre fighter Grimm as his personal bodyguard, although the two seemed to have struck up an unlikely friendship and are rarely seen apart.

While hunting down the head of a criminal organisation in Letharac, Tyrias met the goblin thief Degus, who was "working nights" for the gang, helping them increase their already substantial profits with the inclusion of the local nobility's jewellery. Tyrias recognised Degus's considerable talent for breaking and entering and offered him a job.

Hangman’s Knap

Tyrias was hired by the townspeople of Cooper’s Went to deal with both the band of green skins and manticore that had taken up residence in the nearby abandoned fort on Hangman’s Knap. On this adventure he took his usual companions, Grimm and Degus, as well as the infamous dervish Blaine.
