A fracture landscape of parched stone and craters lies south beyond the Cracked Lands.
Possibly the site of a long gone powerful kingdom, wiped out from a falling comet during the God War, or a site of such utter evil to rival the Abyss.
Myth has it for those that can venture across the Cracked Lands, stave off the thirst due to insufficient water to sustain a camel on the journey, then the avid adventurer is greeted with luscious green land cloaked with jungle and teeming with life, or this is just rambling of mad men.
Look closer at the birds and stretches of steaming jungle, things may not be quite right. Creatures that land are many-eyed, fanged and unnatural, trees pulsate with life, leaves dripping with venom, roots drinking blood.
At the heart of the place, a great chasm falls away into blistering hot darkness.
The Portals Beneath the World, an ever growing danger, feeding off the magical energies of Pannithor.
The Portals cause vast rifts in reality, transforming and corrupting all it touches.
If left unchecked, these portals will grow into a void worthy of the Abyss, and the legions of the Wicked Ones and the nightstalkers will gain unassailable footholds across the world.
