Thatraskos is a port-city in Keretia on the mouth of the River Thatras. It is the home of Basilean Navy’s second largest naval base.

Thatraskos hosts the second-largest number of the Basilean Fleet ships, only beaten by the naval dockyard at the city of the Goldern Horn. It is the base of the Basilean Navy's Keretian Fleet which is primarily made up of sloops and frigates used to patrol the shipping lanes.
Points of Interest
The west of the harbour is dominated by the naval base, which sits under the watchful eye of both an immense and well armed fort, and a naval administration building known as 'The Spy Glass'. The east of the harbour is the mercantile district, home to the Harbour Master's Office and facilities to support dozens of major trading vessels and merchant companies simultaneously.
Thatraskos lies on a gentle slope leading northwards along the banks of the River Thatras. The town itself is considered to be one of the most beautiful in all of Basilea, coming alive every night as the townsfolk keep an age-old tradition alive by adorning their houses and shops with colourful lights that can be seen miles out to sea.
Trivia
- Not appearing on previous maps, Thatraskos was created for the novel Pious. It was suggested to Mantic by the author, Mark Barber, as a base of operations for the Basilean Fleet in Keretia, given that Koronai is not coastal.
