Tharn Grimmson was once a well-respected warrior amongst his people, but after a particularly vicious battle of which he was the only survivor, he found himself somewhat adrift.
Biography
It wasn’t that he was hated or even blamed, but rather that he was pitied by all who looked upon him. All Tharn wanted to do was fight, but he found himself unable to do so in his own Hold. He also found that in every Hold he went to, word of who he was would rapidly spread, leaving him in the same position as before. A career as an adventurer was therefore his only remaining option.
Now he gets to fight as much as he wants, and acquire gold and treasure into the bargain, though what he has planned for the hoard he is amassing he has never felt the need to share.
