Red Skull is a pirate haven in the eastern reaches of the Infant Sea amd was named after the first ship that beached there called Red Skull

The tales of its lost treasure attracting further vessels to the island. Over the course of years, beached, wrecked and abandoned vessels formed the nucleus of an independent settlement. The leadership of this haven fell onto three of the most notorious pirates in the area.
Sitting south of the vital Sand Lane trading routes, it is a constant thorn in the side both the Basilean and Salamander fleets.
However, with its notoriously shallow waters proving near impossible to safely navigate by those who do not know the routes, and giving clear fields of fire to the small fort set up at the settlement by the pirates, Red Skull has so far proven to be beyond the worth of the casualties that would be sustained if an amphibious assault was planned.
