High King Odador, also known as Odador the Twice Crowned, was High King of the Dwarfs during the Winter War which marked the first signs of the division of the dwarfs.
About
After many weeks of deliberation the High King Odador the Twice Crowned of Mountains of Abkhazla announced that the dwarfs will march to the aid of the Elves and Men.
The northern dwarfs refused the order of the high king to join the war, secure in their wealthy and power. Without risking bloodshed, Odador could not demand them, but he would deal with that later.
His grand army was then under strength, demoralised and lacking faith in its king. The march on with defeat in their hearts and suffered huge losses, whole clans lost their strength and were absorbed into stronger clans to avoid extinction
Death
An Archfeind tossed Odador from the walls of a Primovantian fortress. He lived for a few more hours, speaking of the duty now falling to his three sons.
None would correct him, as all three of his sons had died in this war. Winter was eventually defeated, but the dwarfs sealed the gates for many decades to their kingless kingdom.
