History
Pre-Ascent of the Goblin King
Grum was captured by the Underminers and used as their own personal gladiator against those they throw into his pit.
Ascent of the Goblin King

Grum fought against Ug after Grogger Split-Tooth choose him to go up against him, after being forced to by Grukhar Rockcrusher. Grum had the upper hand against Ug, being bigger and stronger, which caused Grogger to find a way to help Ug after he was knocked down. Using Klunk's bombs, Grogger managed to get out of his cage and jump into the pit.
Using the power of his abyss dagger, Grogger managed to wound Grum along with dodging his attacks until Grum managed to score a shot directly into Grogger's chest which dropped his dagger. Out of curiousity, Grum picked up the dagger and ate it. Grogger quickly went to Ug in attempt to get him back up before Grum turned his attention back on him.
Death
Grum picked up a rock and Grogger begun to hear the dagger singing. Grum clutched his stomach and gave a loud burp. Then burped again. Suddenly Grum exploded with only Grum's smoking feet remaining with Grogger's dagger.
Post-Death
Grum's death resulted in the Underminers turning on Grukhar and making Grogger their king
