Gakamak, known as Gakamak the Smasher or Gakamak the Unstoppable, is a Krudger who raids the lands south of the Abyss. He rides the gore mount Arsewind

Biography
Although they share the same heartlands, the Abyssal Dwarfs and the Orcs constantly battle around the Abyss.
No sooner have the Abyssal Dwarfs bound the Abyss in rings of iron and obsidian fortresses, some mighty orc Krudger comes along and throws it all down. The orcs may be a plague upon the world, but if it were not for them, the Abyssal Dwarfs would be able to direct all their unholy energies south, towards the lands of the gentler folk.
One such Krudger is Gakamak the Smasher. His early history is unknown; he fought his way up from obscurity to fame and, like many Krudgers, descended the same way. But for a brief period, Gakamak’s name was whispered with dread as far away as Ileuthar.
He rose rapidly, defeating other orc and goblin warlords, incorporating the remnants of their armies until he headed a mighty horde. He betrayed the Abyssal Dwarfs, slaying several of their lords at a parley, while simultaneously launching an all-out assault on their lands.
In battle, Gakamak the Smasher lives up to the title by which he is known and feared across the whole of northern Mantica. He is utterly unafraid of engaging even the most threatening enemy and has felled every foe from noble elven Drakon Knights to the winged abyssal demon known only as the Lord of Midnight. Each and every challenger Gakamak has met in battle he has smashed aside with primal, brutal contempt.

Grokagamok is a active Hero (Cav) unit and was originally introduced in 0.4 Mantic Journal 4 - Clash of Evil, before the official 1st Edition Rulebook release, for the Orc faction. Grokagmok was not included in 1st Edition Rulebook however in 1.0 Kings and Legends his rulset was shown again including point values.
Grokagamok continues to avaiable for the Orcs faction for 2nd Edition and 3rd Edition, currently an active unit
Pre-1st Edition and 1st Edition Biography
There is little love lost between the Abyssal Dwarfs and the Orcs. The heartlands of both these wicked races centre upon the great Abyss, whence all the evil in the world issues. The Orcs are regarded as unpredictable and destructive by the Abyssal Dwarfs, and despite similar goals – the subjugation of the kingdoms of other races – the Orcs and Abyssal Dwarfs find themselves battling one another more often than not.
The Abyssal Dwarfs have bound the Abyss in rings of fortresses of iron and obsidian, although periodically some mighty Orc Krudger comes along and throws it all down. The Orcs may be a plague upon the world, but if it were not for them the Abyssal Dwarfs would be able to direct all their unholy energies south, towards the lands of gentler folk. His tribe rose rapidly, defeating other Orcish petty kings and Goblin chiefs, incorporating the remnants of their armies until he headed a mighty horde. He betrayed the Abyssal Dwarfs, slaying several of their lords at a feast, simultaneously launching assaults on their lands. Only the deaths of thousands of slaves halted Gakamak. Frustrated, the Krudger headed into the wild tundra to battle monstrous beasts and Ogre tribes. Some say he is there still, and fear the day he decides to return to his homeland. This event triggered a great rift between the Orcs and the Abyssal Dwarfs, for previously the Overmasters had looked upon them as unruly, if ultimately controllable, slave soldiers. While numerous revolts had flared up over the years, rebellions which often had to be put down with overwhelming force, no Orc Krudger had ever dared unite the tribes against their erstwhile masters. Soon, word of Gakamak’s deeds spread far and wide until it reached those Orcs, and even Goblins, that dwell in the farthest reaches of the Great Plains of the Mammoth Steppe.
Though these tribes had never bowed to the Abyssal Dwarfs they had nonetheless regarded their power as absolute and never dared to challenge it. Now they saw a chink in the Overmasters’ obsidian armour and, displaying the primal aggression of their race, they could scarcely resist exploiting it. When they did, Gakamak was at their head. In the span of just a single year, every tribe within a thousand leagues of the Abyss rose as one, heeding Gakamak’s war cry that resounded the length and breadth of the blasted wastelands.
A horde of Orcs and other foul creatures descended upon the temple�bastions that surround the Abyss. The war that ensued saw the wastes of Tragar carpeted in the dead of both sides, and the Abyssal Dwarfs driven from their outer ring of fortifications until, so it was said, their backs were up against the raging Abyss and they had nowhere else to turn but into its searing depths. It was at the climax of the siege that the high Overmasters of the Abyss opened wide the gates of the deepest, darkest slave pens and set loose every last howling abomination of the Halfbreed experiments conducted in their dungeons, and turned them upon the Orc horde.
Though the Orcs fought with the ferocious rage for which they are feared across the whole of Mantica, even they could not stand before such a horde. The Abyssal Dwarfs’ blasphemous spawn were slaughtered, but so too was the greater number of Orcs and their allies. Those that survived were driven from the field, and any that fell trampled to death where they lay. But the routing of Gakamak’s horde was not the last of it, for he fought with all his might to hold its core together. Though he could not rally the mass of the tribal alliance, he was able to gain control over the most determined of its warriors and these he led upon many a year of wanton plunder persecuted against the Elves of Galahir, the kingdoms of the Ardovikian Plain and any other who dared stand before him.
Eventually, only when a particularly harsh winter descended, the Smasher’s horde was at last spent, and despite his bellowed orders to the contrary, it finally split into its constituent parts, the remains of the tribes returning to their own lands. Frustrated, the Krudger headed into the wild tundra with a few trusted followers, to battle monstrous beasts and nomadic Ogre war-parties. Some say he is there still, and fear the day he decides to return to his homeland to reunite the Orcs. In battle, Gakamak the Smasher lives up to the title by which he is known and feared across the whole of Northern Mantica.
He is utterly unafraid of engaging even the most threatening enemy and has felled every foe from noble Elven Drakon Knights to the winged Abyssal demon known only as the Lord of Midnight. Each and every challenger Gakamak has met in battle he has smashed aside with primal, brutal contempt. He bears a crudely-wrought sword that despite appearances is said to be imbued with potent magics. Some claim that Gakamak’s sword contains some small portion of the essence of every enemy he has ever slain and that its edge is kept keen by their anguish and despair. He also carries a shield every bit as magical in nature as the sword.
Legend states that Gakamak stole the shield from a great and ancient sorcerer deep in the Ice Mountains, though if this is true, the identity of this wizened mage remains unknown, leading some to suspect he lives yet, bound in chains by the Smasher, held against some future service he will be forced to perform. Some even claim that it is to this northern fastness that Gakamak has returned following the defeat of his armies and that the mage is being forced against his will to forge all manner of magical weapons and devices for Gakamak and his most trusted lieutenants to carry into battle against the armies of Mantica when next his hordes are mustered. If such tales contain even a shred of truth, Gakamak’s Siege of the Abyss might prove but the opening in a far wider and ultimately more destructive war against every race of Mantica
