The Varangur would cross this sea through to Carrog for raiding trips. They also cross the sea for what became known as The Reckoning, against and within the Abyss.
During the Edge of the Abyss, there was at least one key war, The Battle for the Frozen Sea, which led to The Flooding of the Abyss, where the Frozen Sea began to boil and seethe, breaking and melting the ancient ice sheets, north of the Abyss and the Steppe.
