Duke Berlonviche is the duke of Berlonviche and leader of the Berlonviche region.

The Broken Alliance of the League of Rhordia

Duke Berlonviche was the only one of the five dukes of the League of Rhordia to not attack the shires during The Broken Alliance of the League of Rhordia conflict and as a result was held in better regard than the rest. This most likely is the reason he was sent as the league's representive to the shire before the Battle of Eowolf.

He explained about Lord Darvled's manipluation that pushed the shires to break from and the League of Rhordia and into war. He provided Headmaster Jannik as proof after 'Questions' (after torture) was provided admitting to working with Lord Darvled to weaken Rhordia. The Duke then asked for forgiveness from the Halflings and offered to free prisoners and offer hostages which included wives, children and barons from across the five states of the league.

Trivia

• It is unknown if the current duke in 3866 is the same duke when the Ratkin invasion of Berlonviche in 3650 which took place 16 year eariler who was called Duke Albustus Alberson. This would explain the Duke's refusal to fight the shire during the The Broken Alliance of the League of Rhordia conflict as Dustin Rootwell played a vital role in the Ratkin conflict and was Muster-master at the time of the leagues attack.
