Bolt Thrower

Bolt Thrower, also known as Dragon’s Talon Bolt Thrower, is a War Engine for the Elves.

About

These powerful war machines hurl bolts as tall as a man with such force that they can level castle walls or skewer half a dozen knights with a single shot. They are quick to load and fire and light enough that they can be swiftly moved around the battlefield, rapidly redeploying wherever their firepower is required.

Not all traditions and practices have been expunged from record or common use by the Twilight Kin. The war engines they use are still modelled on the ones used by their hated cousins.

While the bolt throwers of Elvenholme are sleek, elegant contraptions, the engines of Leith are forged with effigies of Abyssal and Stalker horrors and the dismembered remains of slaves adorn each mighty weapon. Bolts are often left rusty or smeared with poison and other filth so that even glancing blows may cause infection and disease.
