Lord Valellion is the father of Talannar Icekin

Biography

Long after the god war but before the war with winter which occurred centuries later, the house of Valelion was a well respected and powerful part of elven society. It was said its nobility could track their lineage to before the time of the light and their military was second to none.

Not only that, but many elves went to them for sage advice about a multitude of topics. For example, Lord Valellion, the head of the house, even had the ear of the elven King Thominus and it was said he had great sway over the kings decisions.

Within this house were born two twin boys. Talannar and Tyris. Both minor nobility with no chance of taking the throne who spent their time, some would say, wasting their privileged youth. They had a talent for magic but showed no interest in it. They were also fairly average warriors. Although that may have been more to do with lack of effort then ability. Truth be told, they seemed to spend most of their time enjoying whatever hobbies crossed their paths and hanging out in human bars.

The active and fast paced lives of the humans much more interesting then the slower and much more strict culture of the elven people. And, as sometimes happens to youths who lack care, Talannar found himself becoming a father. Now this was not unheard of, and might have even been celebrated as even then, it was noticed that the elven population was slowly declining. The issue however, was that the child's mother was human.

During the time of light, the mixing of human and elf was not unheard of. But after the events of the shattering of the Fenulian Mirror and the god war, that sort of thing was heavily discouraged. The elves believing intimacy between the two races could only cause disaster for their people.
