The only record of Crudwych is a quote noted in the novel Pride of a King at the start of chapter 12.
"The lust for beautiful things is inherent to the corruption of any dwarf. The desire to do violence to another perosn or creature in order to produce gain for oneself is the hallmark of a dwarf's fall from grace. The first Abyssal Dwarf was made when brother struck brother in a fit of greedy rage, and that tradition has continued down to our present day as the hearts of clansmen grow cold to one another and the desire for riches and comfort becomes more important than the wellbeing of others. Be warned, however, that not all corruption stems from a desire for gold. There are far more nefarious treasures to be coverted."
