Rowan Bossesus is a former Captain of the Basilean 4th Battalion at Arms
History
Rowan was a Men-at-Arms Swordsman for the Basilean military where he met Mary. They later got married and moved away to begin a new life from the Hegemony
Ascent of the Goblin King

In 2850, Rowan helped Furna and her crew recover after fighting the undead. Rowan along with Mary, sheltered the crew after they managed to escape and, after Furna, woke up Rowan asked for their help with taking out some nearby Goblins which most likely were holding the goblins they were after. Furna hestitantly agreed and started to round up some locals to form a militia.
After forming the group, one of the militia group Nian knew the way to the entrance due to the past attempt and led the group in. Igne, one of the salamander's, was able to sense the magical escence of Magwa's prod, which guided them into the right direction through the tunnels. After walking deeper through the tunnels, the group came upon a pale-looking goblin looking panicked and scared.
Before Rowan could grab it, the goblin turned and ran down another tunnel, suddenly a wave of more pale-skinned panicked goblins who attacked the group with crude spears and weapons. Brenwin was wounded resulting in his father, Osian, and Elis carrying him back to the surface.
The group continued and came upon a large abandoned chamber. Noticing it was recent abandoned, the group searched the room. Aeron found a silver tray that goblins stole from him last year, recognising the crest of Primovantor. Upon further investigation, the group discovered a treasure trove of items which were worth enough for Furna's crew to buy a boat and the farmers to afford additional defences for the future.
Fueled by vengence, Furna wanted to continue on however Rorsha did not. After a brief disagreement, Furna hands over captainship to Rorsha and jumps into the pit below to follow the Goblins. Rowan, feeling a sense of allegiance, followed Furna along with Igne and Beresk on her mission.
Finding Grogger-Split Tooth
After sometime, Rowan and the group come upon the underground river and spot the wreckage of a barge. They begin to follow the river down and come across some Ratkin which they quickly dispose of. Eventually they came upon the exit of the underground river and into the open, stumbling upon the Underminer's makeshift fortress they were constructing. Igne sensed the Magwa's prod wasn't there and continued towards it without any of the Underminers spotting them.
Coming upon the Bodjits, Igne summoned a Fire Elemental in a attempt to break through the gate and the group begun to approach the Bodjit village. Kackle Flashzap summoned his own elemental, a Water Elemental, to counter the fire elemental and Grogger and Jo'os took on Furna as Magwa took on Rowan and Ug took on Berusk.

Berusk managed to hold Ug and Jo'os, who joined Ug in his fight, back but as Berusk was about to make the killing blow, Ug managed to grab Berusk and snap his neck, killing him. Furna, enraged by this, managed to get the upper hand on Grogger. knocking him to the ground and drawing her pistol for the final kill.
Rowan, who had been knocked out by the explosions that Klunk was throwing from above, noticed that Grogger was reaching for Magwa's prod that he had dropped. Rowan ran towards Furna in order to warn her, but instead distracted her from her aim. Rowan crashed into Grogger but not before he had grabbed the prod and manged to stab Rowan with his dagger, making him limp. Grogger then turned and fired a electical energy shot from the prod at Furna, killing her.
Rowan was imprisoned along with Igne, who was captured by Ug shortly after Furna and Berusk were killed and Rowan was captured, in the cellar of the tavern of the Bodjit settlement. Grogger forced Rowan to say his name through torture, then ordered Gritter Fingernipper and Grukhar Rockcrusher to take Rowan to the nearest human city and leave him there.
Days later, Tompkins found Rowan beaten and broken on the outskirts of the city. Captain Dwight ordered Rowan to be thrown in a jail cell to be dealt with later only for Rowan to grab Captain Dwight "King Grogger is coming, and he will kill us all"
Post-Ascent of the Goblin King
Rowan's fate after this is unknown, assumed he remained alive.
