"Bless these who are departed, dear Mother, whose memory is written in the stone. Take this soul as we return them to thy embrace beneath rock and earth, to join once more with those gone before into thy arms. We shed our tears for this departure. As you once wept for us, now we weep together for the same reasons. We are bereft a friend, a companion, and a steadfast presence. We hope that our weeping may bring about the same as those tears which you shed so long ago, and bring about new life and renew our devotions to one another.
