Trolls

From Kings of War Wiki

There are many Trolls splintered across the whole of Pannithor. Trolls are large, feral humanoids whose appearance varies considerably depending on the environment they live in– Swamp Trolls are for example very different from Hill Trolls or Ice Trolls, however all Trolls have dim wits and an insatiable appetite.

About

One of the most common sights accompanying a goblin horde are groups of Trolls. These large, dim-witted beasts are typically solitary creatures that roam the countryside eating livestock and generally causing a nuisance.

Attracted by the cacophony of goblins on the march, Trolls will leave their caves in the hope of finding a good meal. That could be enemies overwhelmed by the greenskins, or sometimes the goblins themselves.

Many trolls were involved in the Troll Wars

Types of Trolls

Trolls vary in alignment, although this appears to be defined by whose army they are in, rather than an inherent attribute of the species:

Kings of War Appearances

Trolls were an option for the Orc and Goblin factions before they were given sub-types (i.e Forest Trolls, Snow Trolls, etc) that spread them out to other factions.

As of 2nd Edition, the Troll Bruiser and Zombie Troll was introduced which resulted in the Troll unit to be retired.
