Mererid Cadwallader is the sister of Aeron Cadwallader and Aeron's favourite out of all his siblings.

Mererid had appointed herself as the offical namer of animals at the Howell Cadwallader farm.

She was evactuated to Picksbury before the Battle of Picksbury. Later he joined the shire's forces during the Battle of Hodenburg. Mererid killed a soldier near the end of the Battle of Hodenburg after they jumped into their wagon, she was shaken by this event
