Rage is a short story that was released during the road to Kings of War – 4th Edition Rulebook about the Varangur fighting the Forces of the Abyss.

In 3851, during the Edge of the Abyss, Direfang Rider Rurik (on top of Draumsvak) watched as the Varangur fought against the Forces of the Abyss including Sons of Korgaan Hearthguard (from Ulfrskaal),Cavern Dwellers Half-Elf Berserkers,Ice Elementals and Night Raiders.

The Hearthguard from Ulfrskaal were battling through Lower Abyssals and Succubi in order to challenge the Abyssal Berserkers.Tundra Wolves, Snow Foxes and a Cavern Dweller attacked the Nagarri.

Freka, the leader of the Night Raiders, fired at the incoming Flamebearers who fired back at them. Freka's group fell back and was replaced by Khorveth leading a pack of exiled Half-Elf Berserkers who originated from Leith. Ice Elementals, summoned by Yrsa Stormveild, fired ice shards into Hellhounds in front of them.

Goraxidral, an Archfiend of the Abyss and former Jabberwock (varangur), who had defected to the Forces of the Abyss revealed itself on the battlefield. Rurik locked eyes with Goraxidral then charged towrds them (on top of Draumsvak), meeting whatever fate awaited.
