Kings of War Wiki

Idol of Shobik is based off a long forgotten Primogenitor, Shobik the God of Death.

About

Shobik was was worshipped by the Ahmunites, who raised great statues to him. These statues stood proudly at the entrances to temples, palaces and mausoleums, a conduit for magic and worship.

With ages of worship they still hold innate power, which the high priests can summon to life. These sandstone giants are a destructive force in their own right, but can summon the blessings of Shobik to aid the Ahmunites.

Luckily only the High priests of the Ahmunites know the lost forbidden vows and rituals to animate these Idols, proving that they are indeed blessed by Shobik.

Now one of the long forgotten deities, Shobik’s giant statues, lodestones for both worship and arcane magic, once stood proudly at the entrance to temple, palace and mausoleum alike. The cracked and pitted ruins of these idols still simmer with innate power and can be summoned to life by high priests chanting blasphemous texts from forbidden scrolls.
