The Edge of the Abyss is an event that occured over a 4 year (ingame) timespan between 3850 until 3854. It is also known as the expanding of the abyss during the event but known as the flooding of the abyss due to its conclusion.

Battle 2: March to War Occurs

The Siege of Cwl Gen

The Battle at Rhyn Dufaris was the final battle of the invasion and was desperate attempt by the surviving Free Dwarfs warriors to hold back the invading Abyssal Dwarfs. They hoped to hold the enemy back long enough for the clans survivors to escape to Abercarr across The Chainway. This battle would be known as the first time where the Free Dwarf clans had unified and would prove successful.

The combined Free Dwarf clans were enough to hold the Abyssal Dwarf forces back and the Free Dwarfs would destroy the chainway behind them with the help of the Thistledew Clan
