It was the machinations of the necromancer Mortibris ambition and pursuit of the Portal of Khul-Harakh, and the subsequent opening of the seals on the Entrance to the Underworld, that created a manifestation of Ba’el in the mortal world.
Slave to no one, the the demon served the necromancer while it served its own needs, now he is a scourge on the world, leading armies of abyssals against the cities and strongholds of the mortal races.
The manifestations corporal form has been destroyed many times, but wherever there is slaughter in the name of the Abyss, Ba’el can manifest. biding his time till he is at full strength to break his bonds.
