Water Elementals are the creatures made of pure water that are summoned by those who need them.

About

Naiads often march to war alongside summoned elementals of the sea. Naiads are closely attuned to the sea and this connection runs both ways. When the anger of the Neriticans is roused, the anger of the waves is manifested as violent water elementals. These beings can be summoned and controlled but still pose a risk to both friend and foe.

Kings of War Appearances

Water Elementals were introduced as a Large Infantry unit in the 1.0 Basilean Legacy supplement for the Forces of Nature faction.

At the start of 2nd Edition, no faction had Water Elementals on their team list with a new Elemental unit available for Forces of Nature. In 2.1 Uncharted Empires 2nd Edition Rulebook, the new factions Brotherhood and Trident Realms had Water Elemental as an optional Large Infantry unit.

In 3rd Edition, Water Elementals were reintroduced into the Forces of Nature list (with Elementals as a unit being retired) and continued to be avaiable for Trident Realms. The 3.1 - Uncharted Empires 3rd Edition Rulebook introduced the Order of the Green Lady faction (split off from the Brotherhood faction which is no longer active as of 3rd Edition) which Water Elementals were included on their army list.

Summoned on the battlefield by the Druids, these creatures are the true incarnation of the natural energies that form everything in Mantica (both living and inanimate matter.)

They resemble very large humanoids, roughly the size of an ogre, and move slowly across the field, crushing all before them like an unstoppable tide of Fire, Water, Air or Earth.
