To by time for surviving [[Egilax Clan]] to escape south, [[Jarrun Iremonger]] bought time by emptying his workshop and the hold's entire armoury at the [[Abyssal Dwarfs]] forces. Over 100 warmachines help the walls of teh hold for seven days and seven nights while the escape took place. Eventually, after the last of the [[Ironclad]] had escaped and the ammunition reserves were empty, the siege ended and the hold fell to the enemy. Jarrun and his remaining crew fought to escape south themselves by detonating the last of their powder reserves which brought down some of the hold ontop of the advancing forces. | |||
