Valandor The Great was the the Shining One who lead the Forces of Good against Winter and died as a result. Valandor is a hero to Elves and Men alike and was both a great warrior and a powerful mage. He is the Shining half of Valandor.

About

A legendary figure whose origins re obscured in myth and legend, Valandor was the greatest Warrior mage to ever walk the Land, the father of magic to every one of the good races and claimed by each as their own.

A champion for good for many centuries till he fell beneath the great flood, it was then revealed that he was in fact a Shining One, a literal God walking in mortal form.After Winter's defeat he tried in vain to prevent the flood that washed over Pannithor and created the Infant Sea.

He spent the last of his life force using magic to create a great wall encircling the Elven city of Therennia Adar as the sea levels rose around it, thus creating the city-in-a-bucket commonly know as 'Walldeep' we know today.

His body currently lies in state in Therennia Adar, but his spirit is not entirely extinguished.He is still capable of possessing the bodies of worthy warriors for a short period of time.Valandor is honoured as a Brotherhood knight who constantly fought against the Abyss.

Valandor's sacrifice and martyrdom is subject to the Brotherhoods devotion. It was through this devotion that The Spirit of Valandor appeared first to the Brotherhood and then to any Good faction that needed its healing spirit for the fight against the Abyss.

But with the destruction and breaking of the Brotherhood into to two distinct factions Order of the Green Lady and Order of the Brothermark due to the battles of the Edge of the Abyss, The Spirit of Valandor has not resurfaced as yet. Valandor's Wicked aspect and archenemy is Ba'el.
