The abyssals managed to catch up to the refugees of the [[Daamuz Clan]]. [[Diessa Daamuz]] and her mother [[Brohna Daamuz]] attempted to buy time for the escaping clan by summoning earth elementals. Despite managing to kill the chasing [[Slave Orcs]], they became overwhelmed by a horde of [[Grotesques]]. As a last resort, Broha brought down the cliff walls around her, stopping the Grotesques however killing her in the process. Diessa was protected by a earth elemental saving her. Diessa became Daamuz Clan's [[Free Dwarf Stone Priest|stone priest]] between and spirital guide after Brohna's death.
